If you’re in the market for a manufactured home, there are a few things you need to know about financing them. Here’s my advice.
As we know, Mohave County has been seeing property values increase very quickly and a lot of borrowers are looking to manufactured home purchases as an option. However, if a home has ever been moved from one location to a second location, there are limited loan options available. If the home has been moved only once, you can buy it with a VA loan. If it has been moved more than once, you can’t.
If you’re looking at manufactured homes, this is something that you’ll need to make sure you do your research on up front.
The key is to ask the right questions, which is what we’re here to help you do. If you don’t have those answers up front when touring the home, make sure they’re at least answered by the inspection period.
